5 Star Nail And Spa

I was sharing my story of how I haven’t had gel or acrylic nails in over 20 years bc many salons told me i couldn’t because my nails were too thin and they just Don’t Grow. They break. Anyway Kevin the owner said “ that’s crazy “ I can do your nails and if you do what I tell you and come every 3 weeks they will be fine. Well I was happy and decided to go for it. When I left I thought to myself they already look like they need to be done again. Well the pic below is what they look like again by the third day. When I showed Kevin he became extremely rude. He said my nails grow fast and he can’t control that. I reminded him the conversation we had about how they don’t grow and that it was only the third day. He became angry and more rude and told me I could go to someone else. Well I was foo

Kevin took great care of me. Gave me recommendations on what would work better for my nails due to being so short to help protect and grow them out to be long enough to support my original choice. Look forward to coming back.

Nice people but, what they did to my nails was horrible. I went there trying to find a new place closer to my new home. I walked out of there knowing one hand was shorter then the other and that the nails where going to come off quickly ( my normal place lasts 3 weeks). The very next day, as I predicted they started falling off. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I called them to see if I could come, have them repaired and explained my frustration. They were very nice on the phone. However, they would not work with my schedule and demanded I work with theirs and leave work early to come to them to fix what they messed up. I called to make an appointment and let them know that I had never been there before and I would like to get a pedicure. Every single other client and there was offered a drink, I was not. The man that gave me a pedicure cut my nails so short and I tried telling him to stop because I am a runner and I have some nail trauma. He didn't understand, and a younger man had to translate. The guy took a personal phone call while he was being spoken to by his boss about my toes. The massage was awful, hardly any pressure. I was so upset and fighting back tears, I just wanted to leave and ask them to not polish me.
