I'm so happy with my experience at 46th St Salon. I'm one of those naturals that avoids the salon because of bad experiences: hair dressers trash talking my hair, cutting off half my hair for a "trim", pressing it but really just frying it crispier than some catfish. I really needed a trim and some TLC, but I was really nervous. Mardia hooked me up! From the minute I walked in she was warm and attentive. She asked me about my routine and goals for my hair. I got a shampoo, blow dry, trim, and style. Each step of the way she explained the products and the process and discussed a routine with me for length retention and keeping the hair healthy. I wasn't nervous at all when she trimmed my hair because she checked with me before and during. My hair feels amazing, healthy, and looks so pretty

I absolutely love 46th Street hair salon! Everyone there truly feels like family. The ladies are incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely care about your hairs specific needs. Whether your hair is curly, straight long, short or loc's they've got you covered. From coloring to crochet styles and even classic looks like Jerry curl ( yes I actually saw one the last time I was there) they can do it all. Facials, eyebrows, nails. What I love most is how every client is treated with care and patience. You always feel like you're getting your money's worth because they take time to make sure your hair looks flawless. I was honestly nervous about going to a salon because of past bad experiences, but this place completely changed that for me. From the moment I sat down, I felt genuinely cared for. They didn’t just wash my hair, they took the time to deep condition it and make sure it was healthy, hydrated, and handled with intention. I never once felt embarrassed or worried about how my hair looked coming in because of the patience, care, and professionalism they showed throughout the entire process. I’ve had my hair done by both Semajah and Savina, and both have been incredibly kind, skilled, and accommodating. It's always an amazing experience and superb service when I go to 46th St Hair Salon. Mardia and Semaja are amazingly talented and I always leave feeling confident and beautiful. The most important part of the experience to me is that all of the stylists take the time to explain the various techniques and products being used and what is best for your overall hair care. You don't get that type of service much anymore. From scalp assessments to conditioning and strengthening treatments, my hair always feels healthy and bouncy. The pricing is reasonable and definitely worth the experience!

I absolutely adored my experience at this salon. From the initial consultation and education to the adorable magenta money piece I left with, I was terrified to dye my hair. Mardia walked me through the process, and my hair transformed and flourished. I was type hype! The hangtime was hanginggg. 🤣I even came home with some hair products and unique accessories. It was sooo worth the trip from Maryland and to be able build a rapport with an expert licensed OG in the game. Having a hair expert within reach is a huge deal for me, the other stylist was also incredibly knowledgeable and old-school, family-friendly. I love that for them and me! So yes, I’ll definitely give it a 10 out of 10 or the whole Google 5-star rating!
