Great Barber Shop! I was very worried about bringing my 3yr old to a barber shop, and I’m bald so I don’t have a regular barber. I didn’t call ahead I just walked-in with my son. There were a couple people ahead of us and everyone including the barbers were very welcoming. I didn’t get my barbers name, but he was very nice and seemed very experienced especially dealing with a toddler. My son was very comfortable with the entire haircut experience, and I was also very comfortable, the barber made sure to talk over how I wanted his haircut, and he would also double check as he was cutting his hair. My son and I are excited to go back and get him another haircut. Thank you 39 Barber Co for making my son’s first barber experience enjoyable!!

Hands down the best barbershop I've been to in the area. We tried about 5 other places for my son and some were ok. Others, not so much. Adam cut my 5 year old son's hair and killed it! His attention to detail and workmanship was top tier. Definitely going to continue to go here.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS’ TIME!! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE!! CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW SLOW THIS PLACE IS!!! THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS’ TIME AT ALL!! I have gotten my haircut in 50 different cities at over 100 places and this takes the snail cake and it is not even close!! Came in at 845 and sat there until 1030 while they did 1.5 haircuts. Had to leave after wasting the only 2 hours I had to visit Harrisburg while traveling through and needed to check out of my hotel by 11!!! Save your time and go somewhere else!! Update: Once again, I’ve had my haircut once a month in hundreds of different places and in dozens of cities the last 10-15 years and I’m aware of what a busy barber shop looks like. I have NEVER seen 2 guys spend an hour and a half on 2 people and

UPDATE 2026: Hector no longer works here and started his own appointment only barber shop a few blocks down the road. Not much to say except Hector is now here. If you know you know. I've been getting cuts from him for years and followed him through 3 shops now. One of the very few in Harrisburg who knows how to give a real fade and use the straight razor. Coming from Queens, N.Y. you have certain expectations when it comes to getting a cut. Hector checks all the boxes for sure 👍

Best barbershop in the Harrisburg area! Let's talk quality first.. these guys (Hector and Adam) they for sure love and take pride in what they do. No 10 min haircuts here! They are so precise and professional with how they go about their craft. Either one will give you the best haircut of your life. Oh and shop is by far the cleanest shop I've ever been in and they make you feel welcomed. Very friendly and humorous! Oh and NO Appointments here! Walk in ONLY! And be prepared to wait because they always have a crowd waiting! And if you try to be first YOUR BEAT! I swear people camp out to be first in the chair! Pull up at 7:20 and there was already 6 cars waiting ahead of me! That just shows right there that this is the spot to go for haircuts!
