Honest review. A bit disappointing. This is what I asked for: Keep the top long, and low to mid skin fade/taper. Would you say this is a low to mid fade, or even a fade at the least? To be fair, about the top length, the barber asked me that he would need to cut 2-4 cm off and I did say it was okay, but it looks like he cut a lot more off the top, much more than he showed me. I legitimately had very long hair (look at my bangs), but now the hair on top is so short, and he left me super long bangs. Not what I asked for. You can be the judge here. For a $60 haircut, I expected more, but sorely disappointed. If you are looking for someone skilled with scissors and can deal with longer mens hair, maybe look elsewhere. What I got is not what I asked for.

Went in the Virile Barber & Shop for an emergency beard trim. Alex was fast, professional, and he did a fantastic job with the trim. A+ instant regular customer.

Booked a haircut with Matthew, and could not be more pleased with the experience. The shop is clean, the staff friendly, and most importantly, the cut is fresh. Matthew definitely knows what he is doing and is beyond professional. I would highly recommend to those who are looking for a barber.

I had my haircut by Chris. Let me start off with saying, that I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing a new style of haircut and I always dreaded the question "What are we doing today?" Because I would not have a good answer and end up just requesting the same style I've had over and over again. When Chris asked me however, it's almost as if he knew that I needed some guidance. He quickly pivoted from asking me what I wanted, to suggesting what would work best for my shape and type of hair. After a couple minutes of discussion of what he thought would work and what I thought I wanted, we landed right where we needed to be. If you’re looking for a barber, look no further. Matt’s shop is classy yet comfortable; stylish yet unpretentious. It may be new, but you truly step back in time when you walk through the door. He’ll make you feel right at home, and you will forget all about the hectic outside world for a while. You’ll get excellent service, great conversation, and most importantly, a top notch cut.
