1 star binta hair braiding

Terrible the braiders had attitude and my braids were coming out/incomplete. They hated answering questions. 2 braiders however completely different braiding style and quality of work. I had to redo a lot of braids when I got home

I have been to Binta’s shop twice. The first time she and this lady who wore a bald head slayed my hair. I loved the work so I returned around june or July this year. Binta slept most of the time on the couch while two braiders serviced me. Mind you, I’ve been braiding for 13+ years I just rather save the time and get my hair braided by someone else. I could kind of tell the ladies were unsure of what they were doing but I like to give people the space to do their job. These ladies completely screwed up my hair and binta collected my money. I had a different number of rows in the font of my head on each side with the different braided(four rows on one side and five on the other). I sent binta a picture of the mess they did. She called me immediately and offered to braid my hair herself. Wh

updating my previous review although the braids are good, The customer service in the shop just doesn’t sit well with me. Seems like the staff isn’t as friendly with Americans as they are with those who speak their language. As I was walking into the shop and one of the braiders were walking out, she looked me right in my face and let the door close as I was trying to enter. First time I came to the shop I was told that I had to go to the beauty supply store in the Plaza and blend the hair myself, but the second time I came to the shop I noticed that the hair is provided and one of braider blended the hair for a customer. I will not be returning to this shop.

Literally a hidden gem. I love my hair. I got small Knotless butt length and was in and out of there within 4 hours. Everyone was so friendly and it was good vibes during my whole visit. They made sure I was comfortable and customer service was on point. I really wanted to gatekeep them but they deserve this review. She has a customer for life when it comes to me.

I would not recommend or go back! I called and got a quote for a knotless which were reasonable. So I went on a Friday. Long story short I still paid what I would have if I was to have went to who I normally go to(around the corner). I even still tipped. Every time I put my hands through my hair there’s an entire curly strand coming out my braids. I’m pissed! However, she was nice during my service my hair is just not lasting!
